Dr. Christine Greenidge

A Registered Nurse by clinical profession, is currently the Chief Operations Officer at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Bridgetown, Barbados.  Previously, Dr. Greenidge was employed at the NYC Health + Hospitals serving in various executive leadership roles and worked collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care services, the patient experience, and clinical outcomes. In this system, she had oversight of daily inpatient and outpatient clinical services, and Nursing Quality and Education in her role as Associate Executive Director.

Dr. Greenidge holds a Doctorate in Health Care Administration, Master’s and Bachelor’s in Nursing. Additionally, she is a Certified Patient Safety Officer by the Institute of Healthcare Improvement (IHI) and credentialed by the American Nurses Credentialling Center as  Board Certified in Nursing Professional Development. She previously held Adjunct academic Professorships at Lehman College (City University of New York) Bronx Community College, Monroe College and Walden University (Online). She also is a certified Just Culture Master Trainer, a concept aimed at producing a culture of safety by mitigating and reducing risks and is an advocate for TeamSTEPPS, a concept that is rooted in enhanced communication techniques and patient safety.

An active member of St. Luke Episcopal Church in the Bronx, New York, she held positions as vestry member and warden. Additionally, she is the Chairperson of the Housing Task Force.
